These services have been developed from our own experience of the “renewables” marketplace;

as Engineers, we were attracted to the possibilities promised by the various forms of renewable energy systems which are now on offer; however closer investigation revealed a severe lack of genuine data, a considerable amount of wishful thinking, and some claims which are frankly untenable / fraudulent (ranking along with perpetual motion machines and the like!).

It quickly became plain that there is a considerable lack of genuine technical knowledge  in the field, and a lot of “hokum”.

In order to make informed judgements on the methods and technologies on offer, we established a programme of testing and data gathering, using properly monitored and controlled methods designed to emulate realistic “real - world” situations. Where necessary, we built our own equipment to carry out these tests.

We have now gathered and analysed considerable amounts of data, which provides us with a “real life” knowledge base which we can apply to actual situations.

We can provide Energy Survey services for both domestic and commercial applications, and recommendations for appropriate actions (sometimes as simple as improved insulation!). We also provide Project Management services.

We are completely independent, with no links to any manufacturer or supplier; and we provide objective, unbiased advice which is tailored to your needs.

 We’re not salesmen and we won’t try to sell you anything, but we strongly advise you to take serious professional advice before committing large amounts of money to any renewable or energy - saving installation; these are long - term, serious investments and should be treated as such!
